Developing the Whole Child:

*The objective of the camp is to provide a program of daily activities augmented by frequent trips and special events. The program is designed to focus on the development of the whole child and each child’s relationships to the family, the community, and the world, as well as to strengthen foundations of good health and nutrition.

Special Enrichment Activities:

Respond

*Headquartered at our School Age Center at 320 Vine Street in Camden, camp activities are organized on a different general theme each summer with a new related sub-theme each week. Weekly field trips to places as diverse as the New Jersey State Aquarium, the Mayor’s Office, or the Liberty Bell add a special excitement as well as provide the children with enriching experiences.

Educational Experiences:

*The camp program also offers plenty of on-site activities for children. In addition to the fun of lots of supervised recreation, the program works to enrich the children’s academic and learning skills through staff supported educational games, music & art, and other hands-on activities. The camp offers extended hours for the working parent as well as breakfast, lunch (often a picnic) and a mid-afternoon snack.
